The last cast before dark

← All stories

Sample story. Placeholder text and a stand-in photo to show the layout. Replace with a real story before launch.

The light was going and the cooler was already shut. Everyone has had this moment: the rod is half broken down, you’re thinking about the drive home, and something says to throw it out there one more time.

Most nights nothing happens. You reel in, you go home, and that’s fine. Every so often, though, the line goes tight and that last cast turns into the story you tell for years.

The fish is only part of it. Staying a little longer is a habit, and habits like that tend to spill over into everything else.
